INNOVATIVE SCHOOLS

We the first year B.ed students of Michael Job College of Education visited various Innovative Schools around Coimbatore from 2 February 2018 to 6 February 2018.

Various innovations were noted in those schools.

The Indian Public School(TIPS)

With over ten years of experience in providing quality International Education, TIPS has evolved as the pre - eminent international school in India. Located in the serene and peaceful city of Coimbatore, the school have grown in line with the ever changing landscape and molds every individual to afford a first class education to the wide range of students.

We visited the schools on 2 Feb 2018 and 3 Feb 2018.

SRI AMBAL THULASI PUBLIC SCHOOL:

Young children learn from everything they do. They are naturally curious; they would like to explore and discover. If their explorations bring pleasure or success, they would like to learn more and form attitudes about learning that will last their lifetime.A strong pastoral structure underpins a curriculum that seeks to develop the potential of every student. Academic rigour is valued at all stages, and the classroom focus is on challenge, engagement and achievement. Learning is celebrated in all its form. A huge range of extension activities enhances the formal curriculum, and our student will thrive within a vibrant programme. The school has a well – qualified and committed staff, both teaching and non- teaching, who are valued as individual and their learning is celebrated. We visited this school on Feb 5 2018.

THE AALAM MONTESSORI HOME SCHOOL:

The Aalam Montessori House of Children was started in the year 2010. It is intended to be a learning space which offers freedom to learn and explore one’s own interest without the burden of being judged in any way. We aspire to grow into a free-thinking, progressive and child-centric community of parents, teachers and educators. Our educational approach is largely inspired by Dr.Maria Montessori’s philosophy. While her methodology forms the bedrock of our approach, thinkers like J.Krishnamurti, John Holt and the likes influence our day to day efforts. We visited this school on Feb 6 2018.
